What can I expect from therapy? The therapy process looks different for everyone. Together, we will establish goals that are realistic, meaningful, and attainable.
I’ve compiled answers to some of the most common questions clients have to help make your journey smoother. If you don’t find what you’re looking for, please feel free to reach out.
My practice is exclusively online. I do not offer in-person sessions at this time.
Group therapy is an integral part of my treatment approach. I offer groups for individuals struggling with problematic sexual behaviour, individuals navigating betrayal trauma, and couples working to heal from sexual betrayal.
Participation in group therapy is strongly encouraged, as it provides a supportive space for connection, accountability, and shared understanding. Group work is designed to complement and enhance the progress made in individual or couple therapy, offering additional perspectives and opportunities for growth.
An individual or couple sessions $140 per session.
Direct billing is not available at this time. A receipt will be provided following each session, which you can submit to your benefits provider for reimbursement.
To ensure coverage, please contact your benefits provider to confirm that services provided by a Registered Social Worker are included in your plan.
Sessions can be cancelled at anytime; however if they are cancelled less than 24hrs before their scheduled time they will incur a cancellation fee.
Each individual’s journey is unique, and it is not possible to predict how long the healing process will take. Recovery from problematic sexual behaviour and healing from betrayal trauma are not quick fixes. Clients should be prepared for a longer-term process, with meaningful and lasting change developing over time.
Therapy is a unique experience for each individual, though there are common elements along the way. In our sessions, we will explore your personal history and the factors that have contributed to where you are today, while also building the skills needed to move toward a future where you can live as the best expression of yourself.
Group work is an integral part of my treatment approach. It provides an opportunity to engage with valuable structured resources, such as workbooks, while also fostering connection with others who are navigating similar challenges.
You don't have to go through life's struggles alone.
